Never give up

Well that's my philosophy, and despite two years of really rubbish weather, we still go back, ever hopeful, that this is the year that will be the year of the bumper crop. Truth be told, the berries last year were sensational, but everything else a little ordinary. Mr C is the seed planting expert - it's a lovely job and he's great at it and coaxing them on. So far the lettuce, broad beans (stacks of these) broccoli, snow peas and tuscan kale are revving up for a spring harvest. He loves sweet peas, but despite never rarely doing well, they're in the ground again, he's ever hopeful.

Whether it be a bumper crop or not is of no consequence. The looking forward is all we need.
