St Bartholomew the Great church

We visited a church in central London today which I had never been to before. Most enjoyable, especially so as the church keep granted me exclusive access to the organ loft to take photographs. Apparently, no one's allowed up there normally, so I felt quite priviledged. Great view from up there.

The priory church was founded in AD 1123, and so its architectural stylings are different to most churches in London. Note the huge (non-pointed) arches and the simple, wooden ceiling. No fan-vaulting here, but still beautiful.
