Old-fashioned

Very old-fashioned venue ... but in a good way! The Wigmore Hall tonight. On impulse I went to hear Véronique Gens singing a programme of French composers, accompanied by Susan Mannion. A French soprano singing, in French, these jewel-like songs from the last century but one. Bliss!
