Face Off

Out walking the dog past the local lake I saw this drama unfold in front of me.

Mr and Mrs Goose out with the four goslings minding their own business. Along comes a swan (not sure if Mr or Mrs Swan who are nesting on the bank of same lake) who starts to terrorise the family.

The swan would focus on one adult goose at a time chasing it across the lake whilst the other goose looked after the chicks.

This blip shows the point where the swan decided to take on both adults and the geese decided to tell the swan exactly what they thought of the rough treatment from their neighbour.

The goslings were taking shelter nearby.
