Water Everywhere

After a long spell of calm dry weather, today it flipped. On the the higher, more exposed areas of the hills it was well up on the scale of bad weather, even compared with some winter days.

The wind was very cold and at times the blown rain was like needles hitting my face. Definitely a day to keep running to keep warm and minimise the photo stops. Water was flowing everywhere with lots of paths turned into substantial streams. Worse than I've seen for a while. I was glad I have a camera that I use only for running and don't mind too much getting wet.

I enjoy this type of weather. I think it might be something to do with Scottish hill farming ancestry. It also means you have the hills to yourself.
