Home Hobbies

Was flicking through a book that was my Grandad's this evening.

Its called Newnes Everything Within, and although there isnt a date in it they talk at one point about motoring (as an amusement) gaining more popularity after the Great War...and along with other things Ive dated it to around 1925ish.

Its fab, it has information on everything that anyone needed to know back then. How to buy a house, how to amuse yourself, be a handyman, where to travel, what kind of job to go for, how to write letters on different subjects (including proposing when you're shy) and what to cook. Along with squillions of other informative facts.

This tickled my fancy though. Apparently photography was a profitable hobby, and here it told you everything you needed to know about cameras and how to use them.

Fab stuff
