Leigh hill (olympic sight on far right)

The weather was better today, actually saw the sun. As our photo class was doing a field trip it was great to have decent weather. This is a view from the top of Leigh hill looking down at old Leigh. In the distance to the left is the Thames and London, to the right is Hadleigh Castle (made famous in a painting by Constable) and where the olympic mountain bike riding is taking place. Old Leigh is a lovely place to walk and watch the cockle boats come in and out. If your feeling fit you can walk all the way into Southend and beyond.
