The largest mechanical signal box in the world

We passed Shrewsbury Severn Bridge Junction en route home from Cyprus via Birmingham Airport, and after an overnight stay in an hotel by the airport. This impressive structure is now the largest mechanical signal box in the world (according to wikipedia).

Travelling by train to and from Birmingham Airport worked very well, and was very relaxing, especially as the Arriva Trains Wales service runs from the airport through to Machynlleth (where it splits for Aberystwyth and the Cambrian Coast line to Pwllheli).
