Riverside lunch

Today we drove through the Vezere valley - stunning, limestone cliffs that reminded me of the Hawkesbury in Sydney, and evidence of troglodyte dwellings everywhere. We had lunch right on the edge of the Vezere River seen here with Mr M enjoying a beer, before heading off the the Lascaux Caves. 17000 year old astonishing cave paintings. Ok about 50 years old - but precise replicas of the really old stuff only 200 metres away. Honestly, it's much more impressive than that sounds.
