I hate goodbyes

I was fascinated by the green tulips in Mum's garden. Understated but beautiful.

I hate goodbyes. I find them very difficult and today was no different. I didn't want Mum to come into the station with me and I didn't look back as I walked away. The girls and I will be back in July and I held that thought as the train left the platform.
