Confused butterfly

Keep forgetting to take pics & ESP to post them before midnight on here for a lovely record of my days.. So this was one taken earlier today during an all too brief break from the constant rainy downpours. The beautiful butterfly was trapped or was it sheltering in my kitchen window. It did free itself after some time & disappeared just as mysteriously as it appeared.
