BABIES!!

The swan at the common is now looking very proud, as she shows off six cygnets to the world. These are about two days old (according to locals).

Hopefully they will remain undisturbed. Last year they suffered some predation because of low water levels which allowed animals to get out to the nest, but this year's rain has resulted in higher water levels.
