Marta...

I met Marta this morning in Wadebridge, on my way to my stint at the bookshop. Her owner was telling me that she has just rescued her. Marta is a Lurcher, unfortunately her new owner knew nothing about Lurchers. Since owning her she has done some reading, discovering that they are poachers dogs. Explains her desire to chase rabbits at every opportunity. She is keeping her on a lead until she can find a trainer to help her train her to not chase rabbits... I think she may spend the rest of her life on a lead. Not sure if there should have been some further investigation before the rehoming, and not only by the new owner!
