Daddy's long legs

Larry as so taken after the long legs of his daddy - Larry Legs, I'm hoping he's passed it on to his offspring too, whom I caught sunbathing again in the orchard today, but sadly for once I didn't have a camera to hand... I know, that's rather shocking, but I do have a bad cold & carrying a heavy camera around is not nice when everything shudders & aches!

Larry is slowly getting better, his cheek still swollen, but his beak can close a bit more now - still bouncing, still eating, still singing... I love him so much, he's so *one* of the family now, without him... I couldn't even think of a life without him!!!!
