CASCADE

Had a lovely day in the gardens of Alnwick Castle, using a shot that everyone in the North East will recognise I think, normally they show the cascade from the bottom of the hill so thought I'd turn things around. My only criticism of the day is the price of entry, twenty four pounds per person if you want the gardens & castle, bit steep I thought.
Alnwick town is a delight with plenty of history, wish I could blip a few more photos to show you but that's not allowed, might stick them on the web when I get home, fish & chips for tea and a coffee at the White Swan where the dining room is fitted out with the wood paneling from the first class lounge of the SS Olympic, sister ship to the Titanic.
