Yacht race

Yacht; surely one of the weirdest spellings in English. Anyway, here are six of the smaller variety (perhaps actually they are dinghys but I can't help thinking that sounds like an inflatable boat) which were apparently on a kind of race around the estuary mouth at Aberdyfi.

It was such a nice morning that a spontaneous plan was hatched to go on the train to the seaside for the day - an excellent idea and hopefully one that will be repeated again as soon as possible, although next time I might be suggesting we head for Borth - the village is a bit less picturesque than Aberdyfi, but the beach gets my vote for the expanse of excellent rockpools...
