The joy of laundry

I've got a washing line.
I know, not very exciting, but I feel rather satisfied looking out of the window and seeing all the clean laundry out there in the sun.
We haven't had a line for years and years, because in our yard once you have a washing line that's it, you can't do anything else.
Once there's washing hanging out there's no room to do anything else and when we had lodgers I had to look at and battle through other people's laundry, and I got no satisfaction from that, just frustration.
It's the little things in life that keep me happy!
