Calgary Bay

We camped off road on the west coast of Mull and headed up to Calgary bay. Ally remembered his childhood holiday visit here and it was just as he described. A bay with white sand and aquamarine sea over the sand. By the time we drove down to it, the sky clouded over and the walk on the beach was cold....even colder with a very wet foot, when I didn't jump the burn!

Afternoon saw us returning to the mainland by the ferry at Fishnish and heading to meet my art tutor at Acharacle, who was also on a mini break. The beautiful B+B she was staying at with a seriously good food and a cat who threw up in front of us.....lol.
We left Mary and her friend for the evening, to find a spot for the night and found a lovely off road, with a beautiful view down to Loch Ailort. The sheep and lambs surrounded Claudette to keep warm.
We were cosey inside and had a wee glass of Red.
