Abbey Strand, Edinburgh

Blipped Abbey Strand on the way to work, as the weather was pretty nice, and you must take the opportunity to blip in the sunshine when you can!

Abbey Strand is the short approach to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. In the photo you see the ancient Abbey Strand lodging and the building once known as Lucky Spence's tavern, while on the on the south side is the Queen's Gallery and the remains of the gatehouse of Holyrood Palace built by James IV, with the coat-of-arms of James V set in the wall.
