An afternoon stroll

This is the sun setting in the Nuratau Mountains in eastern Uzbekistan.

We'd met two French cyclists who were cycling from Brittany to Japan, AND back again.

Travelling gives you the most wonderfully bizarre moments. We never thought we'd be wandering through the mountains of rural Uzbekistan discussing the politics of Kurdistan with two French people.

Just immense.
