Today there were few tasks to do. Go to the Gym, Tidy the garden, and bag a Blip. No I didn't head out to Easter Island this is Coatbridge in deepest darkest Lanarkshire. Coatbridge used to be packed with heavy industry, coal mines, ironworks and fabrication yards. Today it's a shadow of its former self and these steel art installations are a tribute to times gone by. They are around 10ft high and sited on the site of the old Monklands canal (long since gone). They are pretty cool !
