Very brief walk (or stomp) outside and I went in search of swans. I had been told that both Mr and Mrs Swan were back at BPC1. They had flown off again and in their place were 30 geese and Piccolino the Duck and his parents. Admittedly the ducks were looking a bit gobsmacked by the new arrivals but the geese were lovely to see - and hear.
10 - 15 minutes of calm and a brief chat with the geese - then headed back in.
Spent the evening catching up with a very good friend who is a fantastic person but having a rubbish time at the moment.
