The sea breeze in Perth is known as" The Fremantle Doctor" because of the relief it brings to those long, hot summer days.  The breeze usually arrives mid to late afternoon and reduces the temperature rapidly.  Everyone then breathes a sigh of relief and heads outdoors.
I took the munchkins down to the river to see the wind and kite surfers and they weren't disappointed!
