Belted Kingfisher

I always hear these elusive birds before I see them.  They have an unmistakable rattling sound.  Today this one actually sat still long enough for several shots.  Unfortunately, it was just too far away for a clear picture. This was the best my little camera could do but you can still tell what a cool looking bird it is. So it is today's blip.  :-)
