Sci fi poppy

Another day dodging the raindrops. Got wet this morning on a combined dog walk/run in the park. Rufus was not impressed.

Then popped him in the car when I went to the dentist so I could give him a walk afterwards. Sat in the chair having my teeth poked and hearing the rain pounding on the window. Luckily the sun came out by the time we got to the park so he was spared a second soaking of the day.

The combination of sun and rain is doing wonders for the plants. Loved this spooky poppy in its hairy case. Looks like something from Alien or the Rocky Horror Show.
