Police Scotland Year 2, Day 253 - Canine Recruit

Police puppy Dash, a black German pointer/cocker spaniel cross, and his grandfather Merlin, a golden cocker spaniel, are pleased to see Dash’s brother Loki join the Police Scotland team. Like Dash, five-month-old Loki will be trained as a drugs, explosives or missing person search dog. Nine-year-old Merlin, based in the west command area alongside Dash, is an experienced explosives dog – so will be passing on his wisdom to his puppy apprentice grandsons over the next year or so.
