Brambles

Going for a Derelict Thursday entry since I think that getting involved in challenges will help me be both more focused and imaginative (or do those contradict?!).

I thought of this piece of ground next to work during a break.  I was concentrating on the hut in the centre, but then thought the brambles framing it made for a good composition (and couldn't get any closer since shooting through a fence).  Not quite what I was aiming for, but it was windy and I've got a handful of nettle stings from trying to rearrange the twigs!

Also plan on reading up more on black and white photography: I often see scenes that I think would suit but am never too happy with the finished shot.
