Wilfred Owen 'The Hospital Barge'

I have now started hand sewing the poem 'Hospital Barge' in the shape of the River Severn in Shropshire and the end of the poem becomes the Sambre Oise Canal in France. I have been reading a fascinating biography of Wilfred Owen by Jon Stallworthy, which has helped develop the visual metaphors within the portrait.
