Wylie & Lochhead's

Returned to a family tradition today by making a Christmas visit to Frasers, Buchanan Street, Glasgow,, formerly known as Wylie & Lochhead's.

The centrepiece of the store is the magnificent galleried saloon dates back to 1883 and has an arched glazed roof.

Another great feature is the grand mahogany staircase at the store entrance.

Much change has taken place in other parts of the store in response to current trends but fortunately the grand design of William Lochhead transcends the fleeting fancies of the retail market place.
