Water Wynd

We went over the river to the Hermitage in the hope of going for a walk - but we didn't get very far before being confronted with a sheet of solid ice on the pathway, so turned back. We managed to see the spectacular falls on the river Braan at least. Later we walked along the Tay amongst the big trees into Dunkeld. This is between two of the "wee houses" that were part of the re-construction of Dunkeld after it had been razed to the ground in 1689. It's called Water Wynd - it certainly seems to lead straight into the water!

The light is glinting nicely off examples of both setts and cobbles on the pathway, for the completists amongst you.
