open mic

got roped in to helping andy at the student open mic night tonight as his usual co-host was ill.

numbers were low but quality was amazing. a fifteen year old guy turned up with his whole family and they had no idea that he could play and sing as well as he could. when he started playing they spent the first few songs in complete shock. it was so amazing to watch.

then he and andy basically had a jam session for the rest of the night, playing various instruments. such amazing talent.

i even joined them for a couple of songs playing the cajon drum and i loved it. my one and only moment of playing in a group with amazing musicians.
