A Collector of Oddities

Apropos nothing, I feel the need to spread the word about a dangerous chemical known as Dihydrogen Monoxide. I remember first finding out about this way back, more or less at the beginning of my use of the internet. Proving that the internet has been useful right back before it became really popular.
Dihydrogen monoxide is something thst the government puts in our water you know! Yes indeed, it can even be found coming out of our taps! Some of the dangers include:-

-Death due to accidental inhalation of DHMO, even in small quantities.
- DHMO is a major component of acid rain
- Contamination of electrical systems often causes short-circuits.
- Exposure decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes.
- Given to vicious dogs involved in recent deadly attacks.

And many many more! It's a disaster I tell you!

(For the non-chemically minded - Dihydrogen monoxide = H2o)

The website it worth a look as it is very clever and shows how easy it is to spin something innocuous way out of proportion.
