Film Editting Permitting...

It was the premiere that sort of wasney.  The ticket says the film starts at 9pm at The Pleasance theatre in Edinburgh.  I arrived at 8:45pm and word around the campfire was that the film was still in Cowdenbeath (30 mins minimum away) still being edited.

The film didn't turn up in it's entirety, instead, after watching an older British skate film while we waited, we got some sections from the final film.

It was a rather big Scottish skate community event, a good couple of hundred people and in other circumstances, it could have turned really bad.  In true Scottish skate tradition however, it was a great night regardless. Big cheers for the skaters involved as they showed up on the screen and everyone had a great time. It's the most excitable rawcous cinema I've ever been to. A brilliant night.

I did feel sorry for Sibs who organised the cinema and tickets. Felt slightly sorry for Zander who made the film but then really, he shouldn't have left it to the last minute to work out he had issues.
