No stopping!

It seems to have become a habit of mine, every time we are headed south, to blip us at the Dartford Crossing. This is usually because we are standing still in a queue.

 
Today we didn’t stop!!
 
Dartford Crossing has at last caught up with the 21st Century and, instead of hundreds of cars queuing to throw coins into a box and then dicing with death as many lanes become a few, you actually sail straight through, your crossing recorded and paid for remotely and you stay in lane. Amazing that it has taken it so long. But great that it has happened.
 

A wonderful, trouble-free journey down to Kent. Very few lorries and everyone else apparently shopping, or ‘panic-buying, as the media would have it. Add to this, no stopping at the Crossing and we have made it in record time and much less frazzled than usual. We are here now for the week.
