Not a Rose in sight!

This is the front yard.
Boxwood, Beech and Linden are thriving.
Periwinkles have all but perished
What should have been a (promise of a) sea of roses is mere black soil...

Luckily, all the roses appear to have survived, if barely. They deserve a blip when flowering!
