Day 22 - Las Vegas, NV to Santa Monica, CA

Said our goodbyes to LV and were on the road by 10am. A dull drive on the I15 across the Californian desert. Roadworks, bends and crazy drivers meant it wasn't exactly fun. Then a whizz around the LA freeways in order to reach the airport drop off - more mad driving and a few sweaty moments.

We made it though - 3225 miles driven across the USA. Said our goodbyes to the trusty Escape - it did well.

Taxi to Santa Monica and soon after checking in to our hotel we were on the beach and dipping our toes in the Pacific, just over two weeks after dipping them in the Atlantic. Fantastic.
