Six Poor Folk...

... restaurant in Knaresborough, appeared to be doing a roaring trade late on this dreary damp Sunday afternoon.

The title of the restaurant comes from the Heritage Blue Plaque on the left of the window. This explains that the building, built around 1450, was originally an almshouse but, by 161, it was described as 'a hospital for six poor folk'.
