Pippingford Park

A lovely morning orienteering one around the army training area at Pippingford Park.  No soldiers but some of the small boys were excited to find empty shells.    Typical Ashdown Forest scenery; wooded valleys,  bracken,  open woods, no brambles, and some ancient trees.  This tree is in a row of coppiced very old trees that must mark some long forgotten boundary .
