Party Party!

A little late posting this as we did not get in until 1:30 last night.  We went to two parties.  One with our friends from the tennis club.  Every year S and R have a great party.  S is a great cook and the food is amaze balls, (Note the hip lingo).  They had a magician and a band. Great fun.

The second was in our Neighbourhood where G and S hosted the annual Naughty Elf Party.  We got there just after the gift exchange and let's just say there were some interesting gifts. Also great fun.

I will not be posting any photos of the Naughty Elf party for a couple of reasons. one of which is that I did not take any pictures. Texann did though, so you never know, she might.

Anyway S & R's house backs onto a lake which is surrounded by houses and most had their Xmas lights on.  I only had a fixed 50mm lens so could not do a great landscape and I also did not have a tripod.  However I did manage to balance the camera on a wall to get this shot.
