Onkyo Troubles

This might look like a very ordinary image but to anyone who owns one of these machines the lack of speaker icons will suggest that something is wrong.
 
It may say THX Cinema but no matter what I tried not one of the speakers in the home theatre would utter a sound.  That will be movie night ruined then.
