ROSES:

The first roses of Summer, are always the best; they are fuller & more floriferous. Alas, the petals are just beginning to fall & what with the black-birds scratching all the pea straw, left right & centre, the garden is beginning to look messy ! Must get the blower out before Christmas Day.
