Mr. Funny

Today there was a huge strike in Belgium and for a variety of reasons the school made an unusual decision to close the school. Due to 1:1 technology with the MS and HS students teachers and students were to be available online all day during lessons as we use a number of platforms etc to work with students. It's a little bit different for me so we got with some Christmas preparations!
Olivia made a list of the ingredients we needed for ginger bread biscuits and some other baking. We then walked to the shops and selected what we needed before returning home to bake whilst jigging along to some Christmas tunes. Once again Frosty the Snowman is the current favourite!
The kids then wrote their Christmas lists/letters. Olivia's always makes us smile as she is so honest about her behaviour and tells Santa that she finds it difficult!
With Dexter I cut out pictures and he stuck them on his paper. In the picture above he is telling us what he would like. It went something like this:
"I would like some poo poo and a rabbit and a poodle and some more poo!"
He thinks he is hilarious!
In the afternoon we invited one of Dex's friends from his class over to watch a Mickey Mouse Christmas movie.
A nice very unexpected day in the end.
