Christmas fair in The Hague

I don't think it is quite the on scale of the famous German Christmas fairs, but this year, the powers that be in The Hague have decided that the city would have its own Christmas fair (which we visited on Saturday - and cycled there...of course!).

There were lots of lovely stalls, Richard and I had a mug of the, obligatory gluhwein, whilst sheltering from the downpour (of rain, sadly, not snow - it is the Netherlands after all) and the girls enjoyed waffles with icing sugar and cream (pictured)-  it being a Dutch fair (the other sweet offering was another Dutch speciality, poffertjes).
