RITUAL
My early morning ritual...... rake up a few embers in the wood-burning stove ( from the previous evening's fire ) place some birch shavings & kindling on top, open the air vent, add a few light ash logs, followed by heavier beech logs, close down the air vent. Whistle Brodie for his walk.
