Nowhere Fast

Walk in to town for café and croissant this morning. No croissants left, so had rather large escargot - very sugary bun with sultanas, in the shape of a snail, hence the name.  Not very healthy but sustained me on the run this afternoon. 

In between, tried to start the car: flat battery. No idea why, so it is at the garage being checked. We were thinking of driving down south tomorrow, so we will see. At the moment we are going Nowhere fast*

The view is from our balcony, across the neighbour's garden. Not many signs of winter yet. Another beautiful sunny day.

Off to watch the last episode of Homeland; hopefully it recorded. Best series on tv at the moment I think.
