Burning Eye

I find myself a little annoyed this evening because I can't find a tripod release plate so I could do a long exposure of this flame.

I will extend the search into tomorrow but in the meantime reimagined the idea and got this shot.

A little paranoia that I would burn the lens by shooting directly overhead but it was a pretty safe distance.

Must dash - I think I can smell something burning.
