Adam Ant

Late tonight, I trimmed a small branch from the pagoda dogwood and brought it inside. There was an ant on it. He ran and climbed frantically, exploring the vast twig with foliage and blooms thoroughly before he stopped to catch his breath and stare at the backdrop of flowered fabric I chose for him. He liked it, I think. I'll go put him outside now so he can tell his friends about his ordeal adventure.

More planting happened today. Left to do: herbs, some annuals in pots and I am d.o.n.e. Then we are putting up the copper pipes underneath the pergola to which I will attach the canvas shade canopy that I still need to make. Patio furniture will get a power wash and voila: back yard is open for summer.
