It's Curtains

We're visiting my mother for Christmas. This won't be much fun as it will be her first Christmas Day in a care home. She is too immobile now for us to take her out without a specially adapted car, which unfortunately we don't have.

Our journey from London today took 7 hours - far longer than usual. So I'm scratching around for a blip. This is a detail from the curtains in my mother's living room. We still have her flat even though she can no longer live here.

Now for pizza, wine and University Challenge. Christmas begins here.
