Clover the Inquisitive

My parents headed out to battle the masses this morning to fetch our Christmas lunch. This meant that Oscar got a lie in with me this morning :)
Then mum and I made our first ever attempt at making Macarons. We went for strawberry and chocolate flavour. Not the easiest of things to bake, but I think we made a pretty good attempt. Even if they don't look entirely uniform I think the texture was spot on! Headed back home with TSP this afternoon so we can have Christmas eve together and then I'll add the filling on the day, so it is still fresh. Nice to have TSP back, and suddenly we have lots of gifts under the tree!
