St Rognvald...

..the patron Saint of wee boats.

This one was bobbing on a rising tide in Newhaven harbour tonight. This photo was a result of making a last minute rescue dash for a pal who decided he'd buy his Mum one of my prints for Christmas - yesterday.

So with Santa hat on I called on his lovely Maw in her flat on Lower Granton Rd and dropped off his gift. Her place gets a fantastic view all year round, straight out onto the Forth. I used to live there and would spend hours just staring out the windows, sooking in the view.

It was a still night, (I feel a song coming on) and clear, so I took a quick diversion to Newhaven, and collected some nice reflections.
